Hey All,

Alistair kindly sent us some photos of himself busy in his garden.

Alistair, I think a description of what you are doing is best if it comes from you. Can you post an explaination for us? I am excited to hear about your project.

Hi everyone. I sent these in because I thought people might like to know about them. the first photo is of two portable
garden beds that I bought from Aldi's. they are light weight and fairly easy to assemble. Kim and I then went to a garden supply place and purchased some soil, some star picket posts, and some bird netting, to keep the birds out,I am still working on getting that up.The second photo, shows the two wheel wheelbarrow of my wife's that I used to shift the soil from the front to the back. note there is only one handle ,so there are no balancing problems. now you know theses things exist, you can go looking for them. Aldi's have also had some really good compost bins with doors at the base,so you can take the decomposed material from the bottom of the bin. If you are interested in their range, they publish the weekly specials on their web site each week,so you only have to go in when what you want is available.I find going into the stores with out a shopping list that I will stick too,a big trap.things like the garden bed and compost bins are not always available, they tell me they rotate these type of items, every 16 or 18 months or so.from Alistair.
