Isn't that funny Glen!

You must be a mind-reader!

Twenty years ago, Frits's idea of his retirement was playing my beautiful grand piano whilst I produced Devonshire teas for tourists passing by on this wonderful Tinderbox Peninsula.I wasn't so happy with that. My ideas for retirement were playing my piano whilst singing, and painting. I didn't want to be tied to the kitchen for a job

Today Frits made a good cup of tea for the three of us and brought out some Dutch gefuldecujkes

which our guest declined. He watches his diet too, spends too much time in a car during week days and on tractor weekends.
I should try the scone idea though.

(In previous days I usually had fresh bread in the oven). Frits could have the choice of piano or talking, which he also loves. Was good to meet Alex, because he hasn't met many people in the local area, only a girlfriend of ours who walks early in the morning along the road with their dog.
