The 2007 National Stroke Audit Organisational Survey examines stroke services across Australia and identifies where they may be inadequate to support the delivery of evidence based stroke care. The 254 hospitals surveyed provide an overview of access to stroke units, imaging facilities and routine services that are essential to enable evidence based care for stroke patients. The survey shows there has been improvement in resources available for stroke care but that there are still many areas of real need. National Stroke Audit - Organisational Report (.pdf - 934KB)
