The Australian Stoke Coalition (ASC) met face-to-face for the third time on 28th of April 2010. The ASC was established by the National Stroke Foundation and Stroke Society of Australasia nearly two years ago. Thirty representatives from sixteen organisations around Australia met to review the operations of the coalition.

The ASC works together to tackle agreed priorities to improve stroke care.  The day provided an opportunity to network and review communication links between relevant organisations and their members regarding stroke care in Australia.  It was a productive day and steps will be put in place to ensure  the Australian Stroke Coalition continues to work together to reduce the impact of stroke in the Australian Community.
