The National Stroke Foundation has developed national Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Rehabilitation and Recovery.  The guidelines are based on the most comprehensive review of the evidence for stroke rehabilitation ever conducted in Australia.

The Guidelines were developed with the assistance of a multidisciplinary Expert Working Group who worked with the project team to review the evidence base for stroke rehabilitation and long term care. Recommendations were drafted based on the evidence. Where no evidence exists, expert opinion is provided.
