The National Stroke Foundation has four official ambassadors – all are stroke survivors. Our ambassadors  talk to organisations to explain what a stroke is, and the impact stroke has had on them personally.

Our stroke ambassadors also play an important role in representing the National Stroke Foundation in the media.

The ambassadors of the National Stroke Foundation are:

  • Judith Halliday who experienced a stroke in her 30's.
  • Ross Pearson - a remarkable man who cycled around Australia after experiencing a stroke.
  • Brooke Parsons who had a stroke at just 13 years of age.
  • Angelo Lekkas - Hawthorn Football star who experienced a stroke in February 2005.
