In 2006 the National Stroke Foundation continued to educate the general public about the signs of stroke and to seek immediate medical attention if they experience the signs of stroke or recognise them in someone else. ![]() 2006 FAST - Awareness Campaign FAST is an easy way for everyone to recognise the signs of stroke: Facial weakness - can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped? Arm weakness - can the person raise both arms? Speech difficulty - can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
